Welcome to the Christmas Songs List Website where you will find all kinds of Christmas songs lists and great Christmas Ideas. Before we get to some great Christmas Songs, here are some ideas on how to plan the best Christmas ever that will leave lasting memories for years to come. You will also find ways to incorporate some of the Christmas Songs Lists into your Christmas Day activities.
The first tip is to buy your presents early and trying to find good deals throughout the year and not just around Christmas. If you holiday shopping is done early, you will have more time to enjoy the season. Also wrap your presents early and do not wait for Christmas Eve.
Putting up the Christmas Tree
One of the best parts of Christmas (or sometimes the worst) is putting up the Christmas tree. Once again good planning can help to avoid tension when putting up the Christmas tree. One recommendation is to make putting up the Christmas tree a tradition that will last for generations to come. The first recommendation when it comes to the tree is to put it up two days in advance of when you are planning on trimming it. The first day will be dedicated to putting it together (artifical tree) and then shaping your tree to perfection. I normally spend 2 to 4 hours just shaping the tree. On the day before you trim the tree, get the lights on it. Again if you want to do this job correctly you will need to spend a few hours just getting the lights on the tree. If you want to make it look professional, you will need to string the lights throughout the tree and not just strung around the tree. This means that as you string your lights, you will go in towards the center of the tree and then out towards the front of the tree as you string the lights along each branch. This will mean you will need more lights (an a higher electric bill) but you will get a lot more depth and beauty from your Christmas lights if you string them in this manner. After you get the lights on the tree, you will have to reshape the tree again because you probably changed the shape some as you added the christmas lights. You will find if you do your tree in this manner it will lead to less stress and let’s say argueing and fighting. Basically when your tree trimming day arrives, you can just have fun decorating the tree because all of the hard work is done. For example, we do our Christmas Tree on Thanksgiving Day ( It gives the kids something to do). I will put the tree up at least two days in advance and put the lights on at least 1 day in advance. This definitely makes for a more relaxed Thanksgiving on my part. A Christmas songs list that incorporates songs about Christmas Trees would be a great addition to any tree trimming party.
Decorate The Christmas Tree
Whenever you decide the decorate the tree, make party of it even if it just involves your family. One of the best things to do is to play Christmas music because that will add that extra bit of Christmas atmosphere that will make your tree trimming special. You can also whip up a batch of Christmas Party Food, Christmas Cookies and Hot Chocolate to help add that Christmas atmosphere while you are decorating your tree. When you are done, you can have a tree lighting ceremony as you celebrate your new Christmas Tree. You can use this Christmas songs list that you used to put up the tree for this part of your celebration as well.

Of course if you go to church on Christmas Eve, you will want to plan your activities around your church’s schedule. One thing that is really nice to do is to listen to silent night with candle light right before everybody goes to bed. A great movie to watch on Christmas Eve is Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Waking up to Presents (A Little Tacky but Fun with Kids)
Here is a cool way to surprise your kids. This is really good to spark interest in Christmas morning when your kids start to wondeer about Santa Claus. When you use this little Christmas surprise, you can add a little spark back into Christmas. You need to purchase some remote control electrical plugs, a Christmas Light Projector and a rotating light green flood light. In one of the remote control plugs, plug in your tree. In the other remote control plug, plug in your Christmas projector and rotating green light. You will also need to set up a CD player by the couch. You will then need to sleep on the couch and wait for your kids to wake up. Now when your kids wander out Christmas morning, you can turn on your lights automatically with your remote control as you als reach down and turn on your Christmas Music. You will really surprise your kids and help to bring back some of that Christmas Magic. You definitely want to have a good Christmas songs list for this Christmas activity. Classic and timeless Christmas songs might be the best choice for opening presents.
Christmas Day Activities
The key to a good Christmas is planning some activities so that your kids do not get bored and also include the adults so they do not get bored. If you plan your Christmas day will find that your family can spend some quality time together and this will help to make your Christmas memorable.
If you have grandparents coming, one recommendation is to get something that they can do with the kids on Christmas Day as present for the kids. This will give the grandparents the opportunity to spend time doing something they enjoy with their grandchildren instead of just sitting around watching them. For example if the children’s grandmother is into painting, you can get some painting supplies for your children. This way it is likely that grandmom will actually want to participate with the kids as they make some Christmas Day pictures.
The first thing you should plan is your meals. You will want to know what you will be having in advance for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will also want to plan any appetizers that you will be having. Good plannning will ensure you have what you need to make great Christmas meals because if you do not have what you need, you will not be able to get it Christmas day unless there happens to be a store near you that is open.

If you do Christmas Dinner Early, you can just eat left overs later when everybody gets hungry again. You just need some lunch meat, sub rolls and the fixings. If you use fancy Christmas paper plates , you can cut down on the mess as well. For Dinner you will want to have a great Christmas Songs List ready to go. Some Christmas Jazz would be a great addition to your Christmas Dinner.
